No. Many of our classes are designed for beginners. Our instructors create a positive and supportive environment where every dancer can learn and grow at their own pace.
Our team is happy to help you find the best class based on your dancer’s age, experience, and goals. Whether they’re dancing for fun or preparing for competitions, we’ll recommend the right fit.
Yes! We encourage new families to contact us about trial class availability.
No free trials during the summer session.Each dance style has its own dress code. Visit our Dress Code page for the required attire, shoes, and accessories for each class.

Our Company Team is traveling dancing team, who have additional training and performance opportunities, including competitions, conventions, and community events. Dances audtion to be a part of this seletive team.
DanceNation’s Showteam is a high-energy Pom performance team that represents our studio throughout the community. Dancers perform at exciting local events such as parades, community festivals, Bakersfield Condors hockey games, basketball games, and other special appearances. Our Showteam showcases entertaining pom routines that combine sharp technique, teamwork, and school spirit. These performances give dancers valuable opportunities to build confidence, connect with the community, and gain stage experience outside of the competition environment. Showteam is a fun and rewarding way for dancers to perform, inspire others, and proudly represent DanceNation wherever they go.
Yes! We offer adult dance classes throughout the year in a variety of styles. No previous dance experience is required.
To help students stay focused and build independence, observation is allowed from outside the classroom for recreational classes only. Our dance studio has windows where parents can observe. Please contact the studio for current guidelines.
